Happy March! And just like that, we are officially another month closer to spring. February was an eventful month for me—I launched my blog and YouTube channel, celebrated a third Valentine’s Day with the love of my life and discovered so many products that I can’t live without. My February favorites include a bit of everything, from fashion to home pieces. Keep scrolling to see which products ranked the best in my book this month!
1. Honeywell UberHeater Ceramic Heater
How chic is this floor heater? I don’t think I would have survived the frigid month of February without my Honeywell UberHeater Ceramic Heater. This heater is small, but powerful. Featuring two heat settings and an adjustable thermostat, this compact heater is just what I needed for under my desk. Besides its modern design, this Honeywell heater also checks all the safety boxes. Its tip-over protection feature automatically turns off the heater if it falls over—so if you have a dog running around, this feature will come in handy.
2. Blue Sage and Lemon Aromatherapy Stress Relief Candle by Red Leaf Home
I’ve never burnt through a candle so fast, until this one. The Blue Sage and Lemon Aromatherapy Stress Relief Candle by Red Leaf Home is the perfect balance of citrus and floral notes. With each inhale, I feel like I’m frolicking through a field of fresh meadows. I’m not a big aromatherapy believer, but this scent truly puts me at ease when I’m stressed. Day to dawn, this candle is lit and filling my space with all the spring vibes.
3. Function of Beauty Straight Hair Shampoo & Conditioner
I have been wanting to try Function of Beauty’s customizable shampoo and conditioner sets for a while, but couldn’t get myself to spend the money. I also prefer the convenience of picking up products at the store versus ordering online and having to wait.
When Function of Beauty debuted on Target’s shelves, I was psyched. The Function of Beauty Straight Hair Shampoo and Conditioner has done wonders for my hair. Since using these two together, I can now go at least two days without washing my hair and not hav it look oily. The shampoo is infused with coconut water, which provides my hair with ultra hydration without weighing it down. The conditioner seals my ends from top to bottom with moisture and shine, thanks to the avocado oil. Both products are paraben- and sulfate-free and the bottles are made from recycled plastic.
After trying out this clean shampoo and conditioner set, I’m intrigued to customize my own. Let me know if you have tried Function of Beauty’s customizable shampoo and conditioner sets in the comments below!
4. Wake Skincare Australian Pink Clay Face Mask
I treat my skin to a face mask once or twice a week. Lately, I’ve been using Wake Skincare’s Australian Pink Clay Mask, and my skin has been loving it. This face mask deep cleans my pores and gently wipes away dead skin when rinsing it off. If you’re someone who is sensitive to fragrance, this face mask has zero scent and doesn’t irritate the skin or eyes. I can confidently say that my skin feels more soft and looks more even after using this over the past month.
5. Loving Tan Deluxe Bronzing Mouse
I love this product so much that it’s going to be impossible not to include it in every month’s favorites post. Before I discovered this self-tanner, I was cooking my skin in tanning beds. I just couldn’t find a self-tanner that gave me the same intense tan as a tanning bed—until this one. The Loving Tan Deluxe Bronzing Mouse blesses my skin with a beautiful bronzed glow year-round. I apply it with Loving Tan’s mitt, which makes the product glide on, leaving behind zero streaks. I use the dark shade because it gives my skin a longer-lasting color compared to the medium shade. Every two weeks, I apply my Loving Tan Deluxe Bronzing Mouse and I love the results each time.
6. Kamber Elyse Brown Beanie
My amazingly talented friend Kamber officially launched her own fashion brand, Kamber Elyse, over quarantine. I might be bias, but I can’t wait to have a closet full of Kamber Elyse pieces in the near future! From quilted bomber jackets to these super cute beanie hats, the girl designs it all. This has been my grab-n’-go beanie anytime I’m running out the door. It keeps the ears toasty and looks super cute on! I love that she decided to make this hat in brown, because your girl has one too many black winter hats. If you’re interested in checking out Kamber’s fabulous work, click here to view her website and follow her on Instagram!
7. H&M Loose Straight Leg Jeans
It blows my mind how these rocking pair of straight leg jeans are only $29.99! I featured these jeans in a previous OOTD post, so if you want to see them on and in action, click here. Who would’ve thought that my perfect pair of jeans would be at H&M? These jeans hug my hips, fit loose on the leg and hit me at the ankle. If you’re dying to get these jeans (which I recommend you do), size up if you’re debating between two sizes. I vary between a 4 and 6, and I’m very happy I went with the 6.
8. Amazon Black Crocodile Shoulder Bag
The shoulder bag that everyone and their mothers own—but for good reason. I didn’t know if I would be able to pull it off, but let me tell you, I DO. This purse goes with everything! I was pleasantly surprised at how much I could stuff in this not-so-little shoulder bag. Usually, my purses are bursting at the seams after packing my beauty necessities and wallet, but this purse fits it all with room to spare. If you don’t already, do yourself a favor and purchase this super 90s shoulder bag!
9. Trader Joe’s Medium Roast Arabic Coffee
Dunkin’ coffee is all I’ve ever drank, until I recently went out on a whim and bought the Trader Joe’s Medium Roast Coffee—and now I’m never going back. In a single bag, I get more coffee for half the price of the Dunkin’ grounds. It’s a smooth and very flavorful cup of coffee. If you’re a Dunkin’ coffee brat like myself once was, I’m telling you to trust me and try this coffee! You’ll thank me later.
10. Canon G7X Mark II Camera
Thanks to the Canon G7x Mark II camera, my blog and Instagram look picture perfect! Before this camera, I was using a much larger and older lens. Since I was upgrading my blog, I thought that I should also upgrade my camera. I knew I wanted something small, so I could pack it in a purse and easily take photos on-the-go. I also wanted a camera that had auto-focus for video and a viewfinder. The Canon G7x Mark II checked all of these boxes and more. I love all of the features it has, such as the built-in Wifi feature so I can easily download the photos to my phone. If you’re looking for a compact camera that’s great for video and photographing, this is it!
